New Ordinances

Ordinances are the laws of the City. The City Council adopts ordinances - city laws - which are then incorporated in the Indian Wells Municipal Code.

Adoption of an ordinance requires a first and second reading of the proposed ordinance by the City Council. The ordinance then takes effect 30 days after the second reading, with a few exceptions.
