Honor Our Veterans at November 11 Tribute

Please join the City of Indian Wells on 11-11-11 to give a special thanks to all heroes – near and far - who have served our nation in defense of freedom and liberty.

The City will hold its annual Veterans Day Ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Eisenhower Walk of Honor outside City Hall. Participants include Chris Hushaw, executive pastor of Cornerstone Covenant Church in Palm Desert; the Caygill Quartet; and keynote speaker Jack McEncroe, a former Marine fighter pilot who served during the Vietnam War and flew 352 combat missions.

This patriotic commemoration will also include the unveiling of new names inscribed on the granite walls within the Walk of Honor.

No RSVP is needed, and light refreshments will be served.
