Public Works Department
The Public Works Department is responsible for the construction, maintenance and operation of the city's streets, landscaping and other publicly owned facilities. The Engineering Division of Public Works designs and constructs public improvements, checks subdivision maps and traffic engineering plans, and oversees inspection services. The Maintenance Division of Public Works ensures that streets and other public right-of-ways are properly and regularly maintained and repaired when necessary.
